- The map may launch in a separate web browser tab or window.
- Is the browser trying to download a file called map.aspx? If so, then reinstall Adobe Reader. This will usally resolve the issue. This Firefox website has tips on opening PDF files in the web browser.
- To turn on the panning and zooming tools in Adobe Reader:
- In Adobe Reader, right click on the tool bar. Click More Tools… and scroll down to the section called Select & Zoom Toolbar. Turn on the tools you want to use, and click OK.
- If you have Adobe Acrobat 9 you can turn map layers on and off. On the left side tool bar, look for an icon which looks like two sheets of paper. Place the mouse cursor over this icon, and the tool tip should say "layers". Click the icon to open the list of layers. Click the eyeball icon to next to the layer name to turn the layer off. Click again to turn the layer back on. The thick black lines are on layer 0.
